Done checklist
Ten yes-or-no questions. Run them on a card before it goes on the Done board. Dave runs the same ten when he opens it, so a card that passes all ten is approved the same day and a card that fails one comes back with the number of the one it failed.
Where the pictures are. Every check below has a card that proves it on what good looks like. If a check is unclear, find the card, measure it, and match the number. Do not eyeball it.
- The mark is from the kit and it is in the card's theme color. Navy on paper, black on cream, white on a photo or dark ground, teal on a teal card. Never the gold stacked mark. Never a gold or light mark on a light ground.Files: legacy-logo-for-cards. One wordmark lockup per card. The icon may appear at full opacity as a working element and again as the watermark; icons at different opacities on one card are fine (Dave, 9/10).
- The icon watermark is on the card, in the card's own color. About 10 percent on a type-led card, 5 to 6 percent on a card that already has rows, bars, or a second graphic, 7 percent white on a photo or dark ground. Strong enough to see on a phone. The watermark is the recolorable icon, not the wordmark, and never the gold PNG.
- The agent never touches text. A standing cutout in its own clear space, or a circle with a white or theme-color ring. Nothing behind the face, nothing overlapping the body copy, chips, or footer.Chips beside a cutout are capped in width so they wrap before they reach the agent.
- Inside a ring on a dark card, the circle is light. Pale ground behind the face, never navy on navy. The agent is black and white on at least half the photo cards.
- Every headline and quote breaks on two balanced lines, set in the copy. No orphaned word, no line that runs to the edge. The break is a
<br>in the words, not left to the width. - Every number has its plain-language line. "What this means for you" or the equivalent, under the stat, in words a buyer understands. A number without it does not ship.A review carries its outcome as numbers with labels (9 days, 3 offers), not as chips, and is attributed: first name, last initial, what, where, when.
- The agent block is large, on a clean ground, and consistent. Name in the display face, credential and broker line under it, phone under that. Left-aligned on square and portrait, over a rule. Nothing bolted on.The broker line is on every card. The mark never replaces it.
- On a photo card the house carries the card. The lockup is large, the agent takes the smaller ring. A wide low house takes the split layout, a tall house goes full bleed. The wash is navy, never a flat overlay.
- Type is the brand pair, embedded as bytes. Archivo for display, Source Sans 3 for body. Inter is the approved second face, carrying a whole card. Bebas Neue and Manrope belong to Style 2 only. Nothing named that the rendering browser does not have.
- No dead space and no sold price. Every element earns its spot; if a region is empty, something is missing or something is too small. No sold price appears anywhere, ever, and no shape offers a slot for one. Red appears in one place only: the price-drop chip.
When a card fails
Fix the one it failed and put it back. Do not rework the whole card, and do not rework the other seven at the same time. One card to the bar, then the next.
A card that skips a check because "this template is different" is a card that fails the check. The rules are the library's, not Style 1's. Style 2 proved they hold under a different face and a different construction.
