Legacy logo for the cards

The correct mark from the brand kit, in the three standing colorways plus a recolorable master, plus the favicon set. Published 2026-09-04 for Brett, byte-identical to the LEGACY for Vertex 2026-09-03 brand package. Nothing else is the logo.

The rule. The mark matches the theme of the post. Whatever color the card's headline and accents are, the mark is that color, whether it is the full lockup, the icon, or a faint watermark. That is the whole point. Black, navy, and white are the standing set and rotate equally. Any other theme color comes from the recolorable master. Never a light colorway, gold included, on a light ground. The file legacy-logo-gold-stacked.png in the media bucket is an old mark that is not in the kit and does not carry the corrected wordmark. Retire it. Do not recolor it.

Any other theme color: the recolorable master

Three SVGs set to currentColor. Set the color to the card's own theme and the mark takes it. This is how a red-themed card gets a red mark and a teal card gets a teal one. Use it for the watermark too, at low opacity in the theme color.

The favicon mark

The icon-only sun-and-waves mark sized for tabs, home screens and app icons. When a full lockup crowds a card, this is the mark to use, in the card's theme color. Navy and white sets are here as PNG; for black or any theme color, use the icon SVGs above.

How to use them on a card

Read the card's theme first. Headline color, accent color, the bubble, the eyebrow. The mark is that color. A mark in a color that appears nowhere else on the card is wrong by definition.
Black, navy, and white rotate equally. Do not default to navy. Black on cream is as standard as navy on cream; white on a dark or photo ground.
Any other theme color: the recolorable SVG with color set to the theme. Same file for a watermark at low opacity.
When a full lockup crowds the layout, use the icon mark instead, in the theme color. Small and belonging beats big and bolted on.
Upload the black, navy and white sets to the media bucket under these exact names, add the recolorable masters, point the branded chrome at them, retire the gold file with a dated note, and re-render all 60.
