Style 14, the Sign. Round 5: the formats
The plates on the taller cards. Each plate was outpainted to 4 by 5 and 9 by 16, so the sign is the same photograph with more sky above and more road below, and its corners were re-measured on every tall plate. The golden-hour portrait invented a second road above the sign and was dropped; the market note takes the low-sun plate on portrait. A tall card has room under the sign that a square does not, and real guide signs fill it the same way every time: a supplemental panel on the same posts. So the paragraph rides on one, mapped in the same perspective under the main sign, and you are the sponsor plaque lower on the posts, white with the navy lockup. No caption bar on the tall cards; everything is on the posts.
Dave's notes, applied: the panel and the plaque are the same width as the sign, hung right under it with the same gap between them, in the sign's own color with the same sheeting, sun and grime, screwed to the posts where the posts cross them, their text centered. The plaque reads the name with REALTOR® beside it, and Legacy Real Estate Partners with the phone under that, the lockup above in the type color. No white plaque, nothing floating on the ground.
And then: the plaque with the lockup on the right and the text ranged left beside it; and weather on every sign, rust running from every bolt, brown rims on the heads, heavier grime along the bottom edges, spatter, on the main signs and the panels alike. Nothing on the posts is perfect any more.
Last notes, applied: no bolts on the wooden posts; the lower panels in the main sign's exact white and color; steel bolt heads with rust running from them instead of golden ones; the diamond's white rim cut to less than half.
The last run: the warning diamond has no white frame any more, its black border runs along its own edges like the panels below it; the night sign's face runs to the plate's bottom edge; and on the wooden posts the lower panels are cut down so the stack sits up the posts with ground showing below.
